Writing Choices
A. Use 10 spelling words in sentences.
B. Write a letter using as many spelling words as you can.
C. Write a story using 10 of your words.
D. Write a poem with as many spelling words as you can.
Dictionary Choices
A. Look up at 10 words in the dictionary. Write the word and the guide
words from the dictionary page.
B. Write the words and then write the word with a suffix or prefix
1. land – landing, lands
2. write – rewrite, writing, writes
C. Create a chart using the title and the 3 headings below. Then write
your words under the correct heading.

A. Make a word search using your words at puzzlemaker.com.
B. Make a crossword using your words at puzzlemaker.com.
Handwriting Choice
Write your words twice in your best handwriting.
Word Hunt Choice
Use books, magazines and any other printed resource. Find 10 words
that fit the week’s spelling patterns.
Keyboarding Choice
Type your words once. Then type 3 sentences using your spelling words.
Game Choice
