ARTWORK: VISUAL/MULTIMEDIA/INSTALLATIONS
This year we are asking that pieces be WEATHERPROOF, installed, tested and working by the evening of
Sunday, September 13 and functional for 2 months minimum. Must be durable and flick-a-switchable. Artwork
should show well both day and night. Solar spots are inexpensive and effective for sculpture that is not
internally lit. Alternatively, there is limited space in the Adobe Barn for illuminated, non-weatherproof pieces.
If you have a temporary GLOW! concept with equipment that isn’t weatherproof and are only available certain
evenings, please fill out the Performance Art application. Examples are light projections, films, lasers, etc.

Disclaimer: I, the undersigned, affirms the Triangle L Ranch is not responsible for theft, loss, damage, vandalism, adverse
environmental conditions, including water damage and fire, or any cause of any kind to the artwork provided by the undersigned. The
artist agrees to work with the Triangle L Ranch in a cooperative manner with installation in a timely manner, content, and placement
of the artwork. Participants will be compensated with entry tickets, food during events, and other compensations depending on the
scope of work. However, there is no monetary compensation for exhibiting. There is no fee for applying.

PERFORMANCE ART
Please read the “Important Information” page that follows. There are many changes to
this year’s GLOW!
The new GLOW! format allows for one band per night on the Main Stage. The bands for this year have been
selected.
That being said, we encourage illuminated, outside the box, performances by individuals and troupes. How
about a dance in an illuminated costume on a rock outcropping or impromptu stage, fire, poi, hula hoops,
electric/light shows, acoustic music, blacksmiths. In addition to the performance stage, consider roving or an
alternate site.

We will let you know if your application is accepted as soon as possible after receiving it so you can begin
working on your project.
Think collaboration!
Teaming up to create installations and multi-media light works are encouraged. Have a vision and need some
help making/installing? We will help in any way we can to accommodate you and get you help if you need it.
We will be scheduling free GLOW! workshops and work parties and will be out there ourselves creating and
completing the GLOW! grounds and installations. Come on out anytime.
GLOW! is a creative, collaborative art experience. There is no monetary compensation. GLOW! and the
Triangle L Ranch are not responsible for loss or damage to any artwork, equipment or personal injury.
We have a good supply of power cords for the art installations. We can always use power strips. Cords need to
be buried from piece to power supply.
Spread the word! GLOW! happens because of the contribution everyone makes each year. The volunteer staff,
the artists, performers and audience members foster the unique, rich, GLOW! community. Surely you know
people whose contribution would enhance this years' experience.
Make sure you are in the loop! Let us know if you have questions, ideas to run by us - etc. We'll make sure you
are on the Artist/Performer mailing list. Don't forget - illuminated costumes are always encouraged.
