Why does this topic interest me?
This topic interests me because my sister was diagnosed with T1D when
she was 20 years old and it was thereby something I have witnessed the
effects of second hand.
2. Topic #2:
Colorectal cancer
Why does this topic interest me?
This topic interests me because I have seen a few articles of late
detailing the rising mortality rates of young people due to colorectal
cancer. Ever since Chadwick Boseman’s death from colon cancer in
2020, it feels like young people are constantly dying from it so I wonder
if there is a tie to modern diets/nutrition.
Desired Project Type/Method of Delivery:

My desired project type would either be a research paper or a video
along with a powerpoint presentation. I chose these because I believe
research papers/ inal reports allow you to offer a depth of knowledge to
the reader that is harder to do in something like a pamphlet and I
believe a video with a powerpoint would also allow for a good balance of
viewer engagement as well as depth of information.
