PERSONAL PROJECTS
● Pisces. Utilized Microsoft Azure custom vision to build an application that helps the fish-farm owners in everyday
inspection and data analysis. Developed deep learning models to inspect fishing net holes and pipes.
● Text classification. Built a text classifier using embedding and LSTM layers using IMDB dataset.
● Speed Prediction. A deep learning model to predict the speed of the ego vehicle from a dash cam, based on
optical flow and 3D convolutions. The model scores a 6 MSE (mean squared error) on comma.ai test data.
● Driver Monitoring. Implemented drowsiness detection system based on face detection, facial landmarks, eye
aspect ratio and head pose estimation.
● Semantic segmentation. Used UNet architecture with EffecientNet as a backbone to build a segmentation model using
comma10k dataset. The model scored a cross entropy loss of 0.045 and beat the comma.ai baseline.
● Behavioral Cloning. An End-to-End deep learning model that can learn from drivers' behavior to predict steering
angle based on NVIDIA’s paper "End-to-End learning for self-driving cars".
