DIAMOND RESORT HOSPITALITY PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Diamond Resorts International® offers a paid 11 - 12 week hands-on experience in the exciting world of
hospitality and vacation ownership. Requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills and
experience working in a professional work environment, preferably in a hotel or resort.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Proven ability to work in a reliable, dependable manner. Possess a natural ability to learn new material, systems,
and tools; not afraid to ask questions to gain understanding. Ability to be articulate in written content and oral
communication with others in informal and formal settings. Demonstrated professional demeanor and
confidence when working alongside experienced professionals. Attention to detail specific to writing and
reviewing written documents. Ability to work professionally and productively in a team environment. Strong
written and verbal communication skills. Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple
tasks. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Welcome and acknowledge all
guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine
appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents
accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive
working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the
concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Perform other
reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Must have the ability to work weekends and holidays. Must
provide own housing and transportation.
REQUIREMENTS
Third and fourth year students enrolled in Hospitality programs who have demonstrated a high level of
commitment to the hospitality industry through their academic performance and practical experience are invited
