The Road to War!
OBJECTIVE: To generate a comic strip presentation that will creatively reflect your knowledge of an event
leading to the Civil War.
REQUIREMENTS
1.
In groups of 3 you will research an event or topic that contributed to the division in our country leading up
to the Civil War.
2.
Once you have completed your research, your group will use the program Pixton to present your
information to the class and teach them about the event and how it contributed to the start of the Civil
War.
3.
Each group member will need to activate their group account (See me for activation code and
information.) Be sure to make a password that all group members can access.
4. Each group will be responsible for creating (at least) four (4) frames. Be sure that every group member
contributes to at least one frame.
TIMELINE
1.
A storyboard outline will be due on
to ensure progress.
This should include the names of each group member. Points will be deducted for late storyboards.

your understanding. This will be handed in on
