1 .SYSTEM OVERVIEW:
E-Question Bank is a open source web application that is designed for primary
school in Malaysia.This application will be able to save and collect the appropriate
question from past examination paper, expected question and exercise from teachers.
First of all, the question will be checked by web administrator before the question can be
displayed in this open source.The main function of this system is to provide a question
for primary school.Basically, to provide a question paper, teacher can select the question
manually or the application can list the question randomly depends to subject,question
source and number of question.Meanwhile, the system will be allowed students to ask the
question online.This is so benefit because students can practice at their home and
measure their achievement.Furthermore,it also can print the question with answers for
teachers and without answer for students.
1.1: PROBLEM STATEMENT:
a)
Problem to provide a question paper
Nowadays, teachers need to find the question from multiple resource
such as photocopy from the past examination paper,find the question
from expected question book, reference book and others.So, teacher
must find many resources before he or she can create the question
paper.
b)
Time,energy and cost consuming
Manually, make question paper are wasted time,energy and cost.For
example, teacher need a long time to find the question, typing and
photocopy the question.
c)
Students need a lot of books to make exercise
To do the exercise, student need to buy a question book, one for each
subject.So, to average and poor parents, it would use a big expenses.

1.2: OBJECTIVES

To collect all the question in one place,so the teacher doesn’t need to find a
question from another source.

To simplify teachers job by preparing the question.

To save time,cost and energy,rather than make and find suitable question
manually.

To simplify marking question job,by providing the schemas.

Provide a appropriate question for students to make a exercise.

Students can know their achievements for objective question because this
system have automatic marking.

Provide standardize and qualify question.
1.3: SCOPE
1. Teacher
Teacher is the main user in this application.Teacher can login and view the
suitable question to make a question paper.If they have a suitable
question,they can send the question to administrator, and if suitable the
administrator will add this question in the question bank.From this
application,teacher can also determine the subject,question resources and
number of question for auto-generated question paper.For manual selected
question paper, teacher can choose his/her own question manually.The
question will be print with their answers. Then,they can logout from the
system.
2. Students:
Students can use this open source to practice the exercise.Students can
choose the subject,question resource, and number of question.Students can
accessed the question from their home.Then the system will mark the
students answer automatically.

3. System Administrator
System administrator are responsible to incharged this web site.He or she
can add the suitable question,from past examination, or expected
question.System admin also can edit the question, or delete it.

Login System:
System will allowed user login as they entered the correct user ID and password
and system verify it.

Save The Question:
Teacher and administrator can save the question.

Select Question Randomly:
This application can select the question randomly depends on question resource
which determine by user.

Print Question:
The application can print the question with answer for teacher and without
answers for students.

Edit/Delete Question:
Only administrator can edit and delete the question if there are not suitable.

Select Totally Question:
Teacher can determine how much question will be print.

Answer The Question Online:
This system will be able to allow students answer the question online,then
system can mark the paper automatically.

Logout:
User can logout from the system.

2. SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
2.1: PROJECT ORGANIZATION
The team is composed of 3 people: The Software Project Leader,Systems
Analysts and a Systems Designer. The Software Project is responsible to ensure that the
project is complete on time. The task includes managing the team members and develop
the project plan.Besides the system analysts must investigate any current system,
identifies improvement opportunities, and develops a concept for the E-Question
Bank.Then,system designer will decides how the system will operate, in term of the
hardware, software and network infrastructure. But all of the decides are reserve by the
decision of system analyst.
