Lord’s return. We drive southward from Jerusalem, to Qumran, where the Dead
Sea Scrolls were written over 2000 years ago. How do other people argue against
the Word of God! After an inspirational worship, Drive along the shore of the
Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, Get to the Dead sea beaches, and surf on
salty water which keeps you afloat even if you do not have the surfing expertise.
It is an experience of your blessed life, in this place that is regarded as the spot
where Sodom and Gomora became ashes with Lot’s wife becoming a pillar of
salt. Although called the “Dead Sea, this sea and the whole region on its shore is
very much alive. After sun-set, (for those who observe the Sabbath), you have
an opportunity of getting into the ointments factories and shops in this place –
the ointments have a reputation of being remedial. Retire in hotel in Tiberius –
i.e. at the sea of Galilee.
We begin this day with a bus-drive around the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the
pilgrim shrines on its NW shores. By a bus provided by the organiser, Drive to
Nazareth, passing through Cana, the town of the first miracle of Jesus, then a
visit to the church of the Annunciation and the church of Joseph in Nazareth.
See Prophet Elijah’s Mt. Carmel, Endor, Nain, The Mount of
Beatitudes, the scene of the Sermon on the Mount. Then we visit Tabga with
the Church of the Loaves and Fishes and the Mensa Christ Chapel. Next are
the remains of the ancient border town of Capernaum, where Jesus dwelt and
did many signs and wonders. We drive on up to the Golan Heights and stop at

Rome in Italy
Arrive in Rome the city of Italy. (summer at 27C) It is the city where modern
and old, past and present go side by side, all the time.
Rome - one of the
world's most photogenic cities - and not surprisingly so, when you remember
what's here - The Vatican, Gianlorenzo Bernini, the Trevi Fountain, St Peter's
Square, Colosseum, etc.
On arrival, Visit the Vatican today. Your dream is come true. You have been
wondering whether you would ever see the Vatican - the home-city of the Pope
– the world leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Here you are. Whether you
are a Protestant - even a Seventh-day Adventist, a Pentecostal, an Evangelical,
or you be a Roman Catholic, BEYOND THE HORIZON brings you here to
satisfy your wild expectation!
See Michelangelo’s famous Sistine Chapel. A narrow passageway will bring
you to the Borgia Apartments and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel with its
magnificent fresco by Michelangelo, visiting Botticelli and Ghirlandaio. The
visit takes you to St. Peter’s Square, the impressive work by Gianlorenzo
Bernini where you will be able to see the Pope’s Residence and the
chimney where the smoke comes out when the Popes are elected.
Remember you are in Rome. Rome is a romantic place for honey-moon, favourite
holiday destination, history and city of fashion.
After breakfast, delve into the shopping hobby if you have one, and engage into
the purchasing enjoyment in ITALY. You should of course do that in CHEAP
PLACES IN ROME, because Shopping in Rome – ITALY - is a
serious business. What is good is that from now on, the
“Made in Italy” labels in your wardrobe change from “fake”
to genuine.
Are you a Devotee in shopping? Then stalk your prey rigorously. Grab
your price, style and quality with careful consideration. Via Nazionale
Street is long and worthy of exploration. The Via Vola di kRienzo (near
Prati) is one of the most important streets for shopping in the city. There
are several boutiques, including trussardi, Tommy Hilfiger, Enerty,
Diesel Jeans, Miss lSixty, Armani, Benetton and Brandy. The biggest
department store in this street is Coin. Via Veneto Street is also
worth going to - that runs almost parallel to v. Nazionale.

There are also lots of side streets linking these streets and are well worth
looking too.

Alexandria
WE ARE IN ALEXANDRIA! (summer; 28C – 30C)
•
The second largest city of Egypt, this is the port of the country, being
on the cost of the medittarenian sea. “The Paris of Africa” as is fondly
called - it was established by the Greek Emperor – ALEXANDER
THE GREAT in 331 before the birth of Christ.
•
The Septuagint translation of the Bible was done from this city, the
place visited by Apostle Mark the disciple of Jesus. Alexandria is
much associated with the Roman-Greco history as well. It is the city
of Julius Ceaser and the city of Ptolemy, the city of Octavia and the
city of Queen Cleopatra. (Did you read Shakespeare at all!) It is the
city of military operations of Napoleon's expedition to Egypt in 1798.
•
A visit to the Alexandria National Museum tells it all.
Actually when we land in Alexandria on Egypt Air flight no. MS 8h40, we
transfer into a NASCOTOURS charter bus, which will take us to ABO FARIS
restaurant for bathing and having breakfast before exploring the city. (all
package inclusive). After breakfast, we begin by paying a visit to the museum,
then have a bus tour of the city where we will stop at 31 El Ekbal St, 69 Nabi
Daniel St, 53 Saad Zaghloul St, etc for shoes shopping (There are a plenty of
shoes shops if you still have the nerve of doing that), then get into men’s shops
and ladies shops for the last use of your buying capacity before you visit
jewellery shops which will give you a foretaste of the USA. Afternoon swim in
the Maamoura Beach - considered one of the main tourist attractions of
Alexandria, due to its beautiful beach and parks; including the Presidential
Palace, the Paradise Inn Resort, Maamoura Plaza Mall, etc.
07H25
Immediately after sunset, even by the time we leave Alexandria, we must have
walked on the longest bridge, having covered a bridge distance we haven’t in all
our life’s history. The Stanely Bridge, which crosses Stanely Beach - the most
famous beach in Alexandria, stretches 400 m long distance, and crossing it gives
the atmosphere of walking on the water and defeating all your foes, your past and
your future threats.
After a sunset and an unforgettable panoramic expedition on the Stanely bridge,
we take an evening CAIRO one-and-half hour travel by NASCOTOURS charter
bus. We put up in the international airport’s hotel for the following morning’s

VIP: Enabling Advice: Do you wish to begin paying now in order to gain financial travel
comfort zone? Do it and you may need this also to know:
•
•
•
If you pay any amount of money into the account, and it happens that at the eleventh
hour you are not able to travel, GET someone else travel on your behalf, and make an
arrangement for you to get your money from your friend. BECAUSE: After paying
some expenses for you overseas, it becomes difficult to recoup the money on your
behalf in case you may fail travelling.
You may as well pay insurance money against your flight ticket for you to get your
whole ticket money back from the Air Line if there be a sudden death in the family.
Talk to Sam about that arrangement, and it shall be done.
If for reason other than close family member’s death one fails to travel, and no one
travels using one’s money per one’s own arrangement, one stands an unfortunate
chance of loosing one’s money already paid for land arrangement overseas,
including an amount of R2500,00 which will be taken by the organisers to refrain the
administrative cost.
