Objective of Visit: Technical exposure of Railway signalling and Dairy Industry &
its treatment process of Railway & Environmental engineering subject.
All the students from 7th Civil Engineering of Venus International College of
Technology, Bhoyan Rathod, Gandhinagaralong with three faculty members namely
Prof. Bina Patel, Prof. Pranav Mehta & Prof. Kartik Zala went for industrial visit at
National Academy of Indian Railway, Vadodara & Amul Dairy, Anand on Saturday, 18th
October 2014. Total 45 number of students along with the faculties reached their at
09: 30 am for industrial visit.
In the visit they have seen various railway signaling models and various production
units and treatment units of Amul Dairy.
In this visit, first students have
seen the Museum & short film
about Amul Dairy.
Students have also seen various
operations of Amul Dairy like
reception
of
milk,
pasteurization, pouch packing,
preparation of butter, cheese,
curd, ghee, milk powder etc.
All the process is completely
automatic and computerised.
The wastewater from various
processes are highly organic it
uses in gardening purposes.
