Free Online Math Homework Help The Near North District School Board, the Independent Learning Centre and the Ontario Ministry of Education are pleased to partner together to bring the Homework Help Program to students. This free site focuses on math help for students in Grades 7-10. Key areas of the site include: Homework Help chat rooms. The chat room is an anonymous and secure website that allows your son or daughter to receive math help from a qualified teacher Listen & Learn presentations by qualified teachers Interactive tutorials Videos of answers asked by students Other online math resources More information on how to register, login and use the Homework Help website will be given to your child shortly. In order for the Homework Help Program to begin student information must be forwarded to the Independent Learning Centre (ILC). The ILC is the organization that the Ontario Ministry of Education has designated and accredited as their official distance education provider. Parents/Guardians, please be advised that your child's Ontario Educational Number (OEN) birth date grade math course number will be provided to the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) in order that they may be registered in the Homework Help Program. If for any reason, you do not wish your child's private information to be shared with the ILC, please inform Rod Sinclair at 472-7015 ext 5051 or sinclairr@nearnorthschools.ca by September 16, 2010. If the above private information is not provided to the ILC, it will not be possible for your child to be able to access the Homework Help chat room.
