This initiative is a joined effort between industry, university and government researchers to improve industrial design and development processes. This is done via a concept called Knowledge in Practice Documents. Under guidance by university and/or industry experts, students will engage in the formation of Knowledge in Practice Documents. It is expected that student researchers interact with industry stakeholders, engage in information gathering, and conduct theoretical or experimental work to contribute to the creation of Knowledge in Practice Documents. Since the projects aim at generating ‘Knowledge in Practice Documents’ and establishing strong ties with partners in industry and academia, an excellent command of the English language and well-developed communication skills are an important requirement for this position. -
