EUROPEAN UNION DELEGATION TO MONTENEGRO VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The European Union Delegation in Podgorica, Montenegro is responsible for representing the European Commission, monitoring the reform process in Montenegro and managing the EU assistance to the country. In this context it intends to recruit a Procurement Secretary. The successful candidate will be recruited under a local contract of a fixed term duration from December 2010 to April 2012. He/she will be responsible for assisting the Head of the Finance, Contracts and Audit section as well as the Procurement Managers and for ensuring the secretariat of tender evaluation committees in relation with the IPA programme managed in Montenegro and various follow-up activities in relation with procurement. Reference: PROCUREMENT SECRETARY– Finance, Contracts and Audit Section Job's requirements Education: Completed secondary school diploma. Primary education level followed by 5 years of proven professional experience in similar functions may replace high school diploma. Professional experience: Professional experience pertinent to the activities of international procurement and secretarial duties of at least 6 months after the minimum education level referred above or equivalent replacing proven experience. Experience with EU, UN or other international organisations' tenders and projects. Other requirements: Fluency in English language. Knowledge of other EU languages highly appreciated. Montenegrin nationality or a residence permit or/and work permit in Montenegro. Experience with the European Commission, with a Delegation or/and with EU External Assistance will be considered a definite advantage.
