2.3.1
Authors or any other person may not post the final PDF or any typeset proof version of the paper to

2.3.2
Authors may post a ‘pre-print’ (ie Authors Original paper prior to peer-review) to publicly accessible
websites and share with colleagues provided that it is not done for commercial purposes and that a
link to the final published version on the Lyell Collection accompanies any online version.
2.3.3
Authors may post a ‘post-print’ (ie Accepted Version, post-peer-review, in the final form accepted for
publication) to an institutional repository no sooner than 12 after months after the official date of
publication provided that it is not done for commercial purposes and that a link to the final published
version on the Lyell Collection accompanies any online version.
Supplementary material

Data are not subject to copyright in the UK and thus can be used without permission. Other material
in GSL Supplementary Publications can also be used without permission. In all cases the authors of
the material must be acknowledged in any reuse along with a reference to the associated published
article.
