WAIT LIST HARBOR DESIGNATIONS
For purposes of adding your name to a wait list, the following are the possible choices.
Directions, draft information, and estimated wait list times are provided.
WEST SIDE/BUZZARDS BAY: NORTH AND WEST FALMOUTH, WOODS HOLE
Megansett Inner Harbor “MH” – end of County Road, North Falmouth, closest harbor to Cape Cod Canal and
Bourne, inside jetty, deep draft access. Wait list is low turnover, oldest application is 1995.
Megansett Outer Harbor “MHO” – see above, outside jetty. Wait list is average turnover, oldest application is
2006.
Rand’s Canal “RC” – North of Wild Harbor Road. Deeded rights required. Wait list is low turnover, oldest
application is 2008.
Wild Harbor Inner “WH” – Wild Harbor Road, New Silver area, inside jetty, shallow draft. Wait list is very low
turnover, oldest application is 1989.
Wild Harbor Outer “WHO” – Outside jetty, between Nye’s Neck and Crow’s Point. Wait list is average turnover,
oldest application is 2005.
West Falmouth Harbor “WF” – Old Dock Road area, maximum draft 6’ at mean high water. Wait list is low
turnover, oldest application is 1998.
Quissett Harbor “QH” – At Quissett Harbor Road, deep draft access. Wait list is low turnover, oldest application
is 1997.
Great Harbor Woods Hole “GHW” – Near Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, deep draft access. Wait list is
low turnover, oldest application is 1998.
Little Harbor Woods Hole “LHW” - Near Woods Hole Rd. & Coast Guard Station, deep draft access. Wait list is
low turnover, oldest application is 1995.
Eel Pond Woods Hole “EPW” – Bordered by Water Street and Millfield Street, inside drawbridge, deep draft
access. Wait list is very low turnover, oldest application is 1991.
EAST SIDE/NANTUCKET SOUND: FALMOUTH, EAST FALMOUTH AND WAQUOIT
Falmouth Inner Harbor “FI” – (slips and moorings) Scranton Avenue, deep draft access, transient slips available
April 15 to November 15. Wait lists for slips and moorings are very low turnover, oldest application for slips is
1999 and for moorings is 1996.
Great Pond Maravista “GPM” – Between Maravista Avenue and Shorewood Drive, bridge height is 11 feet 4
inches at mean high water, shallow draft only. Wait list is average turnover, oldest application is 2005.
Great Pond Maravista, Coonamessett River Section “GPC” – Northern end of Great Pond, shallow draft. Wait
list is average turnover, oldest application is 2005.
Green Pond North of the Bridge “GRN” – Between Acapesket Road and Davisville Road, bridge height is 8 feet
at mean high water, shallow draft only. Wait list is average turnover, oldest application is 2005.
Green Pond South of the Bridge “GRS” – See above, moderate draft. Wait list is low turnover, oldest
application is 1998.
Eel River West, North of Woodside “ERW-N” – Between Central Avenue/Menahaunt and west side of Seacoast
Shores. Seacoast Shores cross street of Woodside Avenue is the dividing line. Wait list is average turnover,
oldest application is 2004.
Eel River West, So. of Woodside “ERW-S” – see above. Wait list is average turnover, oldest application is 2005.
Eel River East “ERE” - between east side of Seacoast Shores and Washburn Island, shallow draft 4’ average.
Wait list is average turnover, oldest application is 2005.
Child’s River “CR” – between Seacoast Shores and River Road area, shallow draft. Wait list is low turnover,
oldest application is 2005.
Seapit River “SR” – between Washburn Island and Seapit Road. Very shallow, limited draft vessels only. Wait
list is average turnover, oldest application is 2008.
Waquoit Bay “WB” – Harbor closest to Mashpee, maximum draft 6’ at mean high water. Wait list is average
turnover, oldest application is 2004.
