Instrumentation for The Cement Industry
Abstract
ITECA SOCADEI is specialized in manufacturing and marketing instrumentation for
the cement industry for more than 30 years and particularly in level detection,
clogging detection, level measurement, color analysis and operating control.
Our strength has always been to meet the cement industry requirements thanks to
our range of robust equipment.
Our innovating solutions have solved key applications in the process and have made
the production tool more reliable. Detectors are essential elements in the decision
making process, and the operation of a cement plant.
This is why we consider quality as a starting point and not as an end.
For instance we have supplied solutions to replace nucleonic switches for various
applications in the cement industry : clogging detection at the primary and secondary
crushers, in the various feed hoppers between the quarry and the plant, we have
developed systems for clogging detection, for the under grate cooler compartments.
This last detection is installed outside the under grate cooler chambers and requires
no contact with product. Our first application has been working perfectly since 1993
with no maintenance required.
To comply with our partners main requirement toward safety we have supplied them
with our specific solutions such as the rotation motion sensor, a compact equipment
that complies with all the most drastic safety norms.
ITECA is now working on other innovating products to solve safety issues that the
cement industry has been looking for.
