Extensive Reading (book must be level “red” or higher. You must read at least
one book each semester and write three reading journals for each book).

Semester 2
Module F Literature Log
* one short story
* one poem
The Summative Assessment(test) for the literature will take place on test dates.
All LOG work MUST be completed this year and can't be completed next year.
Portfolio Assessment- 100% of your grade
Tests & Quizzes - 50% of your grade
All other work - 50% of your grade
1st check—December, 2015 • 2nd check—May, 2016
Students may get up to a 5 point bonus for extra effort: participation and extra reading
Your 10th Grade final portfolio grade will be part of your Module E Magen (in 11th
grade May 2017)
Bring to class:



a 2 ring binder, folio paper, a pen/pencil
we advise using dividers to organize your work!
readers, textbooks, workbooks, short stories
Oxford Student's Dictionary for Hebrew Speakers
(you may use the black dictionary or the white one!)
For the time being just save everything & keep your work organized!
