Great Ocean Road Tour (Every Thur-Fri) A 2 day tour is a wonderful chance to avoid the crowds at many stops, enjoy beautiful star lit beaches and really appreciate this magical part of the world. It is relaxing and beautiful without all the buses. 3000 WW1 soldiers built the Great Ocean Road in the 1920’s. Take a photo and read about their story at the monument. Also a nice little beach for a photo op. Possibly the best view of the road itself. Oh and the ocean looks fantastic as well Find at least 5 koalas in the wild. Walk up the road at your own pace. The bus will return in around 15 minutes after turning around. A towel is useful if staying in a hostel or beach house. Weather can change and you are likely to experience multiple weather patterns so bring a jumper and jacket even if hot along with the shorts and t shirt.
