Design to synthesize the mesoporous MgO nanoparticle via two methods:
hydrothermal with surfactant assisted and solvothermal.

Suppose to elucidate the properties of magnesia with specific morphology and
mesoporous through XRD、BET、TGA/DSC、FT-IR、SEM、TEM/SAED、TPD.

Chose the ligand and several transition metals, designed the reactions and
synthesized the complexes through two ways.

Synthesized the complex
Pentaaqua (1H-benzimidazole-5,6-dicarboxylato-jN3)copper(II) pentahydrat.

Characterized structurally by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
Synthesis and characterization of lanthanide metal complexes

Group Leader, Advisor: Prof. Yabo Xie

Chose the organic ligands and nine lanthanide metals, designed the reactions and
synthesized the complexes through three ways.

Synthesized a novel europium complex {[Eu2(bmd)2(Hbmd)2(H2O)8]·8H2O}
(1)
(H2bmd = Benzimidazole-5,6-dicarboxylic acid).

Characterized the fluorescence properties of the complex through UV-vis in the dark
room at room temperature.

Synthesized two isomorphic lanthanide complexes [Eu2(L)6(H2O)4] _ 2H2O (1) and
(2)
[Tb2(L)6(H2O)4] _ 2H2O (2), (HL=4-quinoline carboxylic acid).

Characterized structurally by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

Studied solid-state emission spectra of 1 and 2 at room temperature

Chose complex 1 for the description of the crystal structure.

Internship at Dalian Haixin Chemical Industrial CO., LTD
Advisor: Prof. Jihong Sun

Investigated some new product and their applications such as 3A (3Amolecular
sieve), 13X, Pd catalyst, Deoxygenating agent etc.

Participated in the synthesis of molecular sieves.

Learnt the processes of producing molecular sieves and the related products.
