The school welcomes 4 to 21 year old students who have an intellectual impairment (mild, moderate or profound) or students with pervasive developmental disorders or with psychopathological disorders. These students may or may not have associated impairments. We are presently looking to fill the following position: 1 position of school organization technician : Full time position Nature of the work The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists, in conjunction with the administration, in adapting and applying the procedures required for the organization of administrative operations such as student registration, declaration of student enrolment and of school transportation. Schooling Hold a Diploma of college Studies in Business Administration or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority. Characteristic functions The employee in this class of employment collects the data required for student registration, enters it on the forms that he or she devises and adapts for the purpose and ensures their return once they are completed, makes the necessary corrections and compiles the statistics required to establish the student enrolment and the school transportation. Using the appropriate software, he or she carries out analyses, extractions and specific operations as well as prepares reports aimed at monitoring and complying with the procedure prescribed for matters such as : management of student enrolment, student permanent codes, school transportation and various lists or reports to be forwarded, in particular, to the Ministry. He or she updates student files for the Educational Services. He or she may be required to respond to information requests from fellow staff in the school or from parents. If need be, he or she performs any other related duty. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a knowledge of the OFFICE applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Must me bilingual (written and spoken) Experience in a school setting, an asset SALARY Salary is according to the collective agreement including an excellent benefit package Exceptional conditions when hired! Work schedule: Monday to Friday (35 hours/week) on a flexible basis between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm A total of 7 weeks paid vacation per school year, 4 of which are during the summer season (at the pro rata of days worked during the present school year) 2 weeks at Christmas time, plus the spring break week (subject to certain conditions).
