New Employee Orientation Policy
<Company Name> recognizes the importance of new employee orientation as a means of
fostering a positive first impression and establishing employee loyalty and retention.
Orientation at <Company Name> will educate new employees about the organizational culture,
product and procedures, as well as provide a clear understanding of expectations.
New employees will participate in an orientation program in order to receive important
information about the Company, basic policies, performance expectations, job descriptions,
safety requirements etc. In most cases, the orientation will occur during the first week.
In order to ensure its success, the employee orientation program should be managed as a
proactive, ongoing process by the new employee’s manager. New employees should be
provided with an information package on <Company Name> guidelines and standards,
employee expectations and job information.
