I played basketball for 13 years in one of the most famous basketball clubs in Yugoslavia
“OKK BEOGRAD”. “OKK BEOGRAD” is first division club and in the mentioned period
it was three times first basketball club in ex-Yugoslavia and two times winner of CUP.
Also two times this basketball club was in the semi finals of the Championship Cup. I was
selected in the Junior Basketball team of the Republic of Serbia. After completing my
career in the “OKK BEOGRAD” I played one season as professional player in Belgium in
basketball club “STRONBEK”.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
Like professional coach I worked from 1975.
I was the head coach for many clubs in Serbia and in the other countries:
1974/75 “Racing” – Paris, France (ass. coach)
1975/77 “Sloboda” - Tuzla, Bosnia and Hercegovina
1977/78 “Maribor” – Maribor, Slovenia
1980/85 NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM OF GABON (selector & coach)

All the clubs I conducted had been in the first division, except in Italy. I always based my
work on philosophy of creating the players and the clubs which will have a good game and
good results for years.
In my career I had been coach to some very famous ex Yugoslav basketball players:
Sunara, Zizic, Radovic, Bodiroga. All these players were for a long time in the Yugoslav
National Team.
PEDAGOGICAL WORK
My knowledge and experience I transmitted for years to my younger colleagues and to
students trough the lectures, clinics and writing works

From 1995-2000 I worked at Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS) as special adviser for
development and advancement of coaches' work. From 1996-2000 I was the head chief of
Basketball Training Center where are selected and prepared all the categories of young players
for different international competitions. A great number of medals continuously confirm proper
work and strategy of Federation. Since 2004 I’ve been working in coaching staff OKK Beograd.
