The Society has 833 members, 53 board members and the executive committee consists
of 13 members.
Fellowships:
-Research Fellowship (12-18 months) - founded in 1999. to enable young
pulmonologists to participate in research abroad Nünberg fellowship
(details are on our webside)
The Society organises several forums for young pulmonologist to enhance their
activities and improve their training
(e.i. Case presentations by young physicians, Awards for the best publications,
postgraduate courses, etc.)
Official Journal of the Society is the MEDICINA THORACALIS published monthly
