Lab Technician Analytics (Chemielaborant/in, CTA) – fixed-term 2 years
(Based in Darmstadt, Germany)

member of the R&D Team/ Bioprocesses and actively interface with the whole global Research &
Development. You are mainly responsible for:

Project work in the fields of analytics and biochemistry as suggested and supervised by the project
leader or supervisor

Analyse of enzyme activity with automated methods

Determination of amylase and xylanase activity with the liquid flow system (QUAATRO)

Creating new methods for detection of reducing sugars with the QUAATRO system

Dealing with liquid flow analyser and pipetting machines

Documentation and compilation of experimental results using MS-Office (Word and Excel)
You will report to the Head of Bioprocesses.
Your required qualifications and key skills:

Apprenticeship as Chemielaborant/in or CTA or equivalent

Team player with talent for self management and structuring work and processes

High standards of working quality and ethics

Good command of spoken and written English & German
