INTRANSITIVE VERBS (use ِماin place of the thing that comes after
the preposition (ie, the indirect object). Construct as follows:
1. ماat the beginning of sentence
2. Verb & Object (if there is one) plus preposition ِب
3. Add 3S suffix pronoun (referring back to ) ما
OTHER USES If followed (directly or with a short phrase in between)
by منand a noun then it means “WHATEVER”
In Arabic construct sentence in this order:
1. ( ماWhatever)
2. Verb
3. منand noun
In English translate sentence in this order: 1, 3, 2
(don’t literally translate ) ِمن
