This is a full time position for 37 hours per week and includes being part of an on call rota to
cover for out of hour emergencies.
The salary for this role is £20,197 per annum plus an on call allowance.

Job Title:
Multi Skilled Trades person
Responsible to:
Building Services Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance work including:
Assist other trades where required e.g. electrician, carpentry, heating and plumbing,
painting and decorating
Undertake portable appliance testing (following training)
Water temperature sampling
Regular cleaning of drainage systems
Regular cleaning of guttering systems
Maintenance of paved areas
Minor carpentry repairs and ironmongery/lock repairs
Maintain a safe working environment within the College
Share emergency call-out duties with other team members

Essential Requirements
Proven general maintenance skills in one or more of the following.
Carpentry
Plumbing
Electrical
Brickwork
Groundwork (paving)
Tiling
Essential Qualities
Ability to communicate at all levels
Ability to see potential problems and work through solutions until resolution is
reached, in all areas of the College
Knowledge of Health and Safety
Team player but also able and happy to work on own initiative
Good timekeeper and flexible approach to work
