Concorde students must wear appropriate program scrubs to school every day.
Concorde students must wear the white lab coats that came with their scrubs in class if they get cold.
Shirts worn under a scrub top must be tucked in and not hanging below the student’s scrub top.
Students CANNOT bring food; gum or beverages into the class room, water in clear bottles only must be kept in student backpacks.
Facial piercings (on the nose, tongue, eyebrow, etc.) or stretched lobe piercings CANNOT be worn on campus or in class.
Cell phones are not allowed to be out in the class rooms or in the hallways. If seen by instructor, the phone may be collected and kept
for the class period.
Check for calls or talk on your phones during breaks only either outside or in the student break room in building 200.
If a cell phone (rings, vibrates or makes any noise) during a test or quiz, you will receive an automatic zero grade.
Disrespect of any kind for students and staff is not tolerated on the Concorde campus, student will be counseled.
Shoes worn on campus must be black or white leather-like shoes only.
Open-toed shoes or sandals may not be worn on campus.
Name badges must be worn at all times in and out of the classroom and while on campus.
Hats, head garments, or scarves may not be worn in the classroom.
Students who are going to be late for class or absent should notify the instructor or other students by phone or e-mail.
Students cannot get up and leave class whenever they feel like it, if they need to be excused, notify the instructor.
Non-professional language (name-calling, swearing or foul language) is not okay on campus or in the classroom, student will be counseled.
Students are to conduct themselves as healthcare professionals at all times while on campus.
If the student is out of uniform in any way while on campus, they will be made aware of it by signing an advising form.
With an advising form, the student will be talking to the Program Director or Academic Dean.
Tutoring is offered at CCC and all a student needs to do to take advantage of it is to talk with their instructor.
If a student misses a quiz, they cannot make it up.
Students are to arrive to class on time or a little early.
A student needs to check with the instructor about missed assignments due to illness, or leaving early, the assignments will not automatically be given
to them.
24. If a student misses a test, it can be made up for a ten percent reduction in grade and the student must arrange it with the instructor.
25. When taking a test/quiz, computer screens must be off, all books off the desk top and only pencils/highlighters are to be seen.
26. Arriving to class even one minute late is counted as a tardy.

Four “leave early’s” is counted as an absence.
It is not okay to speak loudly and visit with other students during class, respect other students trying to work and speak in lowered tones.
Students must bring their flash drives to class every day.
Students need to bring their textbooks/workbooks to school daily, extra ones will not be provided to them.
Late homework and assignments without a compelling reason will not be gladly accepted by the instructor and may result in lower scores on the
work.
Arriving back to class late from break is not okay, the instructor will not wait for you and will resume class on time.
Students should talk to their instructors about any class concerns, such as homework or grades/progress.
In order to promote professionalism, negative attitudes will not be tolerated or permitted in class, students will receive counseling.
Hair must be worn up and off the collar or in a ponytail.
Students cannot wear any color hair or fingernail polish color they want. Polish needs to be clear or very faint pink and hair should be the natural
color.
Conservative earrings (two per ear only) are permitted.
38. Students who come to school out of uniform will be sent home, marked absent and reported to the Program director.
39. Students need to be working and participating in class and not laying heads down or sleeping.
40. Negative remarks such as (I hate this), (Why do we have to do this) will result in the loss of five daily participation points and the
student will receive counseling.
41. If the instruction has to consistently remind the students of the rules, and advising form will be filled out, the student will lose five
participation points daily and receive academic counseling.
