Mental Health as a social system: concept of Milieu therapy and Therapeutic community,
working with multi-disciplinary team and psycho-social aspects of hospitalization
UNIT 3
Social work treatment in psychiatric settings: theory and models, psycho analytical, psycho
social, transactional anaylsis, family therapy, crisis intervention, behaviour therapy, rational
emotive therapy, group therapy and strength approach
