INVITE FROM THE FRIENDS
Every year the Friends help to raise lots of money for the school, making it possible to
enhance the provision for the children's learning and development, adding much
increased value to the school's budget. Funds raised by the Friends have enabled us to
support projects such as a new ICT suite, playground markings, bark area and the
outdoor classroom.
As our Y6 children move on, so do some of our members and so we are looking for
parents to come and join in with helping us continue to raise as much as we can for the
children in FCCE.
Maybe you are good at organising, or maybe you are an ideas person with some fresh
insights, or maybe you just enjoy helping out when you have a spare couple of hours.
ALL parents are welcome. So, we'd love to invite you to come along to meet us to see
what we are all about.
There is no obligation at any of our meetings to take on anything, but the more support
we get the easier it becomes. Besides it's great fun and great comradery and you'll be
really helping to make a difference

ST PETERS SINGS THE MUSICALS – SATURDAY 13 JUNE
Various community groups and choirs will be singing tunes from a selection of musicals.
Tower tours, raffle, cafe, bar and bbq will all accompany this event taking place at St
Peters Church.
Please come along and enjoy this opportunity to listen and join in with the amazing
singing, donate to the good causes and enjoy a fantastic community event.

FCCE SUMMER FETE – SATURDAY 4 JULY
The first communication for the FCCE Summer Fete will be coming out in book bags
this week. Please look out for an orange piece of paper (one per family) as this will have
details of the ‘Tombola donation’ mufti day (19th June) as well as other key dates. There
is also a tear-off slip at the bottom for volunteers on fete day itself. The fete is a fantastic
event for the whole community, please get involved and make this our best ever year.
We need helpers in the morning to set up as well as around 40 helpers during the event
itself on the stalls. Each stall is split into 2 shifts to allow everyone to enjoy the fete as
well as help. The list of stalls and helper vacancies is attached and we ask you to email
in your preference of stall. Please email fcceschool@hotmail.co.uk if you have any
questions/stall requests.
Details of the Village Show are also provided to you all. We hope many adults and
children will submit entries into our inaugural event.

HAPPY CIRCUS – THURSDAY 25 SEPTEMBER 2015, 6PM.
Something special is coming to visit the school and wider community in September
2015. More details will follow and early bird ticket sales will be available during the Fete
on Saturday 4 July.

Auction of Promises
Thank you to all the parents, friends and family who participated in the secret auction.
The event did really well and we raised over a £1000 for the children.
