Clear purpose and goals of institutional assessment along with the difference between course
and program SLO and assessments have been articulated, shared and embraced college-wide.
Guiding principles, philosophy and/or values regarding assessment practices have been
discussed, articulated and embraced by the college.

The IAP is integrated with planning and budgeting processes (e.g., via clear links in the process,
alignment of cycles, embedded into Program Review, outcomes used for action planning).
Decision-making and planning activities related to; curriculum, pedagogy, technology,
scheduling, student support services interventions and college processes, have incorporated the
use of institutional assessment data.
The decision-making processes and planning activities rely on the input and participation of the
appropriate constituency group.
