And, that’s good news for our gardeners! We have some of the best gardeners we’ve ever seen, right here at South Park! We have seen their handiwork last summer and into the fall, and now that spring has sprung, we’ve just been amazed at how quickly they’ve been able to get their yards looking so pretty, so soon. But, that also left us wondering, “who is the best?” Who can come up with the prettiest yard in the shortest amount of time? Who can lay claim to the prettiest yard of the summer? Who can proclaim their yard a consistent winner, month after month throughout the growing season? That is why we have decided to start a Yard of the Month contest for the months of June, July, August and September. Each winner will be announced in the following month’s newsletter and will also win a $25 gift certificate to spend as they wish. At the end of the season, we will also announce an overall winner for the summer season and that winner will win a $100 gift certificate and be crowned the King or Queen of Summer Gardening!
