Science Lab Donations
The current fiscal situation in our state has declined greatly. This has
seriously affected the budget for LMMS science classes. We are asking
for your help in providing quality, hands-on science curriculum to
support student learning. Therefore, we are asking for a $5 Lab
Donation (or whatever you can) to give your student the best science
education possible.
Your Money Supports:
*Supplies for labs and projects (chemicals, rollercoasters, disposable equipment
– cups, bags ect.)
*Dissection Equipment (trays, dissecting scissors, probes, gloves)
*Glassware (beakers, test tubes)
*Equipment Repair (microscopes, triple-beam balances)
*In Class Project Supplies (paper, markers, rulers, scissors, glue, ect.)
Examples of labs your donation will help fund: Hot Wheel Lab (motion and
forces), Oobleck Lab, Flame Lab & Old Foamy Lab (chemical reactions), Density
Lab, Microscope Labs (cells), Physics Labs, DNA Lab, Frog & Shark Dissection,
Natural Selection Lab and more.
All money donated goes directly towards La Mesa Middle
School’s Science Students.
We will also take donations of the following items for LAB activities.
*Ziploc Baggies (gallon, quart, sandwhich or snake sizes)
*Paper Towels
*Liquid Hand Soap
*Cups (any size, plastic, paper or Styrofoam)
