Volunteer Community Lunch Assistant
Job Description
Purpose:
The Volunteer Community Lunch Assistant will assist service users in attendance at
Community Lunches
Responsible to:
LINC Community Lunch Coordinator
LINC HACC Services Worker
Duties:
 To ensure the service user is safely transported to & from community lunches in the
vehicle (i.e. with seatbelt).
 To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all service users
 To assist in preparation, operation and clean up of all programmed activities
 To assist service users to participate in programmed activities
 To communicate all relevant information to Coordinator and HACC Services Worker
 To sign time sheets prior to and following service delivery
Skills and experience necessary:





Ability to follow instructions and take direction
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Punctuality & reliability
Drivers licence
Desirable
 Knowledge of Greater Lithgow area
 First Aid Certificate
