 Get yourself a tissue and pay attention.
 First off, we learned how to convert
measurement.
 Second, some of the questions on the PSSA
will ask you to add or subtract measurement.
 What we will do today is to add and
subtraction measurement.
 Psss…you’re going to need your Formula
Sheet (aka BFF) to get the conversions
Adding Measurement
 Example: 4 ft 7 in + 9 ft 6 in
 First, we want to write vertically
4 ft 7 in
+ 9 ft 6 in
13 ft 13 in
Can we have 13 inches?
 So we need to change 13 inches.
 13 inches = 1 ft 1 in
 13 ft
+ 1 ft 1 in
14 ft 1 in
