1st ~ Poor in spirit = Humble
2nd ~ Mourn = can repent
3rd ~ Meek = yielding to God’s will
4th ~ Hunger and Thirst for righteousness =
desire to know
5th ~ Merciful = compassion, forgiveness
6th ~ Pure in heart = see God
