“Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer
thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine
heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for
all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil
from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.”
Eccl 11:9-10

all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

Let not His calling be in vain for thee.
8. And let us hearken to our friend, the Savior.
Oh, may His call reach deep within our hearts,
This tender voice which peace and joy imparts.
9. In youth, as seedlings in His Zion holy,
May our dear Savior keep us in His care
And ever shield us from all dangers here.
