Polygons:
Polygons are a description of a shape. You
can describe any shape you want using a
couple of words including: Polygon, Nonpolygon, irregular polygon, Regular
polygon. A lot asks “When I say on a
certain shape that it’s a polygon, what do
I mean by polygon?” The answer is that to
describe a certain shape by examining the
shape carefully to look at its sides,
angles and the vertices (corners). All
these things should be the exact same. In
this shape, for example, it is a polygon,
but not a regular one it’s an irregular
polygon, because its sides are closed, but
they are not equal and the angles with
vertices aren’t equal. So the new words
