Introduction
This report seek to critically appraise the impact of organizational context on strategic
leadership. To facilitate this, the organisation of focus will be the Royal Virgin Islands Police
Force (RVIPF). The RVIPF enjoys fifty-nine (59) years of independent police service to the
people of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), having formerly linked with the Leeward Islands. The
RVIPF has an eclectic mix of police officers from over eighteen (18) counties across the world.
This mixture brings with it a divergence of moral values which when converge impact the RVIPF
in myriad of ways. Some of these impact cause lasting negative damage to the reputation of the
Force.
