Definition:

ADVERB
Definition:
An adverb is a word that tells us more about a verb, an adjective or even
sometimes about whole sentence. It can explain how, when, or where
something happens.
Examples:
How? She runs quickly. (quickly tells how she runs)
When? He arrived yesterday. (yesterday tells when he arrived)
Where? The kids played outside. (outside tells where they played)
 Many adverbs end in -ly, like slowly, happily, or loudly.
