Graded Process points = revision quiz + bonus – minus
● Revision quiz (max 100 pts per quiz) after class during the next 15 weeks.
Depending on your accumulated quiz scores (aka Knowledge Point - KP) you
will get the points in Graded Process as following:
- >= 800 KP, you have 80 points.
- >= 600 KP, you have 60 points.
- >= 400 KP, you have 40 points
- >= 200 KP, you have 20 points
- Below 200, you have 0 points
● Bonus Point (BP): Participating in in-class activities via Menti every week and
if you are in top 10 leaderboard, you will be rewarded as following:
- Top 1: 3pts
- Top 2-5: 2pts
- Top 6-10: 1pts
- Random questions will be asked to random students, answer each question
correctly gets you 1 BP, answer wrong will not lose you any point
● Minus:
- No answer to the random questions deducts 2 points. (meaning you’re absent
from class)
All of your quizzes, points and many other out-of-class activities will be available and
accessible via myklassrum.com app.
Onthis app, after creating account and register successfully, you will be able to do the
following
interesting
things:
1. Seeing that all the class activities are related to 3 pillars: Knowledge points,
Participation points and Engagement points. By working actively with those
3 pillars, you will be ensured to have the learning experience academically
meaningful.
2. Graded revision quizzes are the main contributor to Knowledge points. By
accumulating enough KPs (mentioned above) you will be able to improve your
Graded Process points, contributing 30% to your course grade.
3. By participating in in-class activities and Q&A sessions, you will earn Bonus
points by the lecturer. These BPs will directly contribute to your Graded Process
points.
4. The Engagement points (XPs) will be gained when you interact with the app via
features like Lecture companion tools, flashcards, warmup quizzes, post and
answer questions in the Q&A forum. You can use XPs to purchase study aids
like second chance (to retake a completed quiz), late chance (to do the due-passed
quiz) or difficulty selection (to select the quiz difficulty level of your wish).
