*Using 50 mL volumetric flask
1. 𝐶1 𝑉1 = 𝐶2 𝑉2 where 𝐶1 for standard 1 = the original stock concentration 0.001M, and
𝐶1 for Standards 2-6 = the concentration of the Standard before it. 𝐶2 = the M
concentration of the standard whose 𝑉1we’re finding, and 𝑉2= the mL of volumetric flask
used, 50.

2. To perform the dilution experiment, I will be using a 50 mL volumetric flask, and start
with the M of the stock solution, then, add some to the first flask. Then, I will take some
of the new dilute solution from that flask and add it to the next flask of now dilute
solution, and so on until I have completed it for all Standards.
