To what extent did the results and conclusions meet the original
aims?
On the one hand, our results met our aims. We know that when you travel from the top
of the valley to the bottom, starting at the top, the river's depth and width will gradually
increase. The strategy we decided to use system static sampling which is where yo
follow a certain pattern/system. The equipment we used was a meter ruler and a
measuring tape that had to be taught the measuring the width. The theory that we
proved was the Bradshaw model,
On the other hand, our results don't necessarily meet our aims because we went on a
dry summer day that meant there was little precipitation. This led to us not being able to
get an accurate reading of measurements. We also only did 1 test at each different site
which meant that our point could be wrong because we didn't measure a variety of
different points at each different site. We done 1 test at the lower and 1 test at the
middle we were not able to complete a test at the upper course because there was little
to no precipitation to measure.
