Objective:
The goal of this project is to capture the influence of digital technology on your daily lives. You
will document as it meets with digital tools, devices, and online spaces. Your photos series should
reflect on themes such as digital dependency, virtual communication, social media, online work,
or how tech changes human interaction. This project will challenge your ability to combine
photography, graphic design (the remaining topics in our final term) emphasizing digital-era topics.
Instructions:
1. Capture Your Story:
o
o
You are required to take 4 photos that document the day of your life living in the
digital era. Focus on moments when digital technology plays a significant role,
such as:
Interaction with smartphones, computers, social media, virtual meetings,
or online shopping.
Using AI, gaming, or streaming services.
Socializing online, remote working, or digital learning.
Your photos should reflect your interaction with digital technology. Aim for a mix
of wide shots, close-ups, candid shots, portraits or landscape. It’s up to you on
how you artistically design your individual project.
2. Tell a Visual Story:
o
Include catchy captions or short descriptions (use creative font style) for
each photo that highlight the technological elements and significance.
o
You may creatively write your full name at the lower center part of your
presentation.
3. Digital Editing & Enhancements:
o
Use photo editing to enhance the visual impact of your photos. Focus on
adjusting exposure, color correction, or using filters to create a consistent mood
throughout your project.
o
Consider playing with color grading to emphasize the digital atmosphere—cool
tones for tech-heavy moments, warm tones for personal interactions.
4. Final Presentation:
o
Each section will submit 1 photo book/album (compilation of individual
projects). The album should be presented in an aesthetically pleasing format.
o
A4 photopaper will be used to your individual project and album.
o
Create also a title of your photobook (front page) that best describes your
project. Include our University & College name, Academic Year, and your
Program & Section. You may add in also my full name as an instructor in our
subject course at the last part/page of your album.
o
Ensure the images are high resolution and well presented.
