Your Name Jacqueline Brady English 107 Month Day, Year Title This is an MLA-style document. It is formatted according to guidelines set forth by the Modern Language Association (MLA). Most college courses require documents formatted in either MLA or APA style. All of the academic essays you write for this class should be formatted according to this MLA template. As you can see, there are one-inch margins. Everything is double-spaced. The text is Times New Roman 12 pt. font. New paragraphs begin with an indentation created by using the “tab” key, and there are no empty lines, or “paragraph breaks,” between paragraphs. To use this template, you can go to “File” and select “Make a copy” (to continue working in Google Drive) or “Download” (to export a copy to Microsoft Word). Once you have your own copy of the document, you will need to change the generic information into the correct, specific information for your project. Write your name where the template says “Your Name,” write your instructor’s name where it says “Instructor’s Name,” and change where it says “Month Day, Year” to something like “January 23, 2021.” Create a title for your project that is either descriptive or creative. Don’t forget to change the information on the top of page 2 so that your last name appears next to the page number on all pages after the first. Finally, you will see a “Works Cited” page that has been formatted as an example. A “Works Cited” page is where you list resources you have used, and we will be discussing it in Your Last Name 2 more detail later in the course. You will not need a “Works Cited” page for every project in this class, so you may delete it when you are not using it. Your Last Name 3 Works Cited Axelrod, Rise B., Charles R. Cooper, and Ellen C.
