TCR/Software Preparation
 Make sure that you have 2 USB Thumb Drives, USB Keyboard, & a USB 3.0 Hub doesn’t hurt
 USB’s need to be 16 GB or More & formatted to NTFS. Preferably USB 3.0
 USB Mouse if wanted
 Make sure that you have all required Hardware (Upgrade Kit or Whole Assembly or individual parts)
 Make sure that you have any and all documentation available (Hard or Softcopy of Upgrade
Instructions/Install & Config Guide/Deposit Automation/Branding Guide/Host Patch Release
Notes/3rd Party Software Install Instructions/etc)
 Make sure that you, the tech, have access to the vault

Support Information
 As always if software is needed due to it is not on site or is not the latest please get with Software Orders at
SoftwareOrders@nhausa.com to request the software that you need.
 Software Orders is open Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time.
 In the email they will need to know: Machine serial number, TCR Model, Middleware Provider (Jack Henry, AddOn,
Compuflex, etc), PC Core P/N (if looking for BIOS Update), Bank (or customer) name for the machine location, &
Software needed
 Software will be sent via a Download link
 If any Questions or Concerns or Issues with loading & configuring software or where to find a configuration
setting or anything else is done right get with Tech Support at 1-877-496-7864 option 1 then 2 or submit a ticket at
https://hyosungamerica-support.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals.
 Tech Support is open Monday through Friday 7 AM to 7 PM and on Saturday 8 AM to 5PM, Central Standard Time.

BIOS Check
1. Plug in preferably a wired USB Keyboard (& Mouse if wanted) but a wireless setup can work as well.
Recommended to also have a 6ft USB Extension Cable & potentially a USB 3.0 Hub.
2. With the ATM Off plug the Keyboard plugged in, turn the ATM back On and start pressing the Delete
Key on the keyboard until you are in the BIOS or get a BIOS Password screen.
 If you get a Password Screen use one of the following: aTM012** or Hy0sung* or 333333 or aTM012* or atm0
(If none of the passwords work then it was changed by someone and you will need to get with your company
or the customer to see what it was changed to).
3. Check the BIOS/UEFI Version the PC to see if there is a BIOS update needed.

BIOS Check
4. If a BIOS update is needed you will update the BIOS via a USB or CD from Windows by running the SW
Update.exe file.

If the ATM is not able to get Windows running with out reloading Basic Media then you will have to do that
first and then update the BIOS.
5. Once BIOS is updated get back into the BIOS and verify Date & Time is set right for where the TCR is
installed at.

Base Image Install
1. Once BIOS is Updated make sure that the Base Image USB is plugged in before going into the BIOS,
otherwise you will have to leave the BIOS and go back in after plugging in USB.
2. Go to the Boot Tab
1. Set the OS Select to Win 10 or Win 7 based on what Base image is being installed
2. Set the Boot Option/Priority #1 to the USB Thumb Drive
3. Go to the Security Tab
1. Add/Change/Remove the Supervisor Password to what it needs to be set to
4. Go to the Exit Tab and choose Save & Exit or just hit F10 to Save & Exit
5. TCR should boot up from the Base Image USB
1. If doing Win 10, will just have to wait for the DOS Prompt loading screen to come up.

6. Let TCR do what it needs to do until you get to the Black Screen. Once on the black screen, unplug
the Base Image USB and power cycle TCR. NOTE: Once machine is turned off wait at least 5 seconds
before turning back on.
7. Once TCR comes up to the TCR Service Screen, plug in 2nd USB Thumb Drive with all other software
and load other packages.

TCR Channel, Platform Update, & TCR Standard Install
8. Break Into Windows with Keyboard still attached
9. After breaking into windows go to Stop MoniPlus via Start Menu
10. Navigate to USB
11. Go to the folder called TCR Channel & run the SW Update
12. After the TCR Reboots, break back into windows & stop the application
13. Navigate to USB > Go to the folder called TCR Platform Update & run the SW Update
14. After the package is done it doesn't reboot
15. Navigate to USB > Go to the folder called TCR Standard & run the SW Update
16. At this point you will load the Middleware Patch, if one needed.
17. Configure TCR > Verify it works with Middleware > if everything working load Hot Fix

TCR Configuration
 Note: TCR only has 3 settings that have to be set for it to work with the Middleware & is all this
document will go over.
1. Log into the TCR
 User: Admin
 Pass: 111111
2. Go to Configuration > System Config
 System date & Time
 Branch Number
 Machine Number
3. Go to Network Config
 Setup the TCP/IP Settings for DHCP, ATM Address (if using a Static IP), and SSL Option
4. Business Hours, Holiday Hours and Robbery Preset will all be setup and handled by the Middleware.
