In particular, in the Multimedia II subject, during the semester in which the respective teaching took place, I had the opportunity to verify the interest of David Pinto in the subjects presented, as well as their active participation in classes with relevant interventions and answers to questions that demonstrate well their aptitude for learning, and reveal that they accompany with serious work and study the course of theoretical and theoretical-practical classes. In addition, David Pinto has obtained excellent ratings in this and other subjects, placing him at the same level of the best students who have ever attended this course. David Pinto developed a practical project that is part of the method of evaluation of these subjects, and which consisted in the elaboration of a project of a multimedia application for implementation of a codec or lossless compression algorithm (Golomb-Rice Method). In the context of this practical project, I was also able to observe David Pinto's great ability to implement requirements, meet deadlines, the technical quality of the code he develops, the strong motivation and the solid level of knowledge they provide to the team, as well as their research capabilities, necessary in identifying, researching and obtaining information relevant to the project in which they are involved.
