Here’s how to use this printable:

Make two copies and cut them apart. Play
Memory Match with them. Practice identifying
the picture correctly.

Tell your learner one word from the CVC Words
List with Pictures.
For example, you say "jet" to your learner.
You say: "Jet. Let's count the sounds in the word
jet. J-e-t. Three sounds.”
Then ask your child to tell you the sounds in the
word jet : /j/ /e/ /t/.
Repeat with other words.
Use it as a reference to ask your learner to
build CVC words with letter manipulatives. Ask
your learner to read the word they build by
saying each sound then blending it together.
