Delivery Drone
A wide variety of drones are being used throughout the globe.
However, till now, no any (or negligibly) drones are in use to delivery
goods. Although few medical drones have been introduced, goods
delivery drones aren’t used so far commercially.
In countries like Nepal, foods are home delivered by hotels,
but it is only effective within nearby areas and also consumes more
time to deliver. Home delivery is only effective within city areas priorly.
Thus, the concept of home delivery by using drones have been thought
but not implanted yet. Further investigation on this idea is to be carried
yet.
Delivery drones have GPS system connected within them
through which orders can be done. An app is essential to operate
drones. Face detector camera and keys for password input are also
provided. For its safety, the drone has a siren and safety jacket. Even a
simply trained person can easily operate the drone.
Using the app, customers can easily demand foods for their
needs from the hotel of their desire. After conformation, ordered foods
are placed inside delivery drone. OTP is provided to the targeted
customer and when correct OTP is typed, the drone will only deliver
food to that customer of concern. If the password is mistakenly typed
for three times, then the drone will return back to the food supplier.
Using app, activity of drone from up to delivery can be tracked
easily. Any sort of accidents to the drone or its misuse are also
informed to its operator. In case of such misuses the drone will project
piercing projections for its own safety.
