1. C 2. B 3. D 4. A 5. D 6. C Google’s approach to business was different to what companies in the same time was way different, Google liked to make things easier for the users, making the normally clustered home page into a clean and enjoyable screen ( P5 line 6 – 9). Also, they were the first search engine to introduce links as seen in paragraph 4, their search engines made getting information by just searching something up easier, as you could just click the link and it would redirect you to it. Google was able to surpass its competitors in several ways. Google made life well, easier. The homepages were clean and uncluttered unlike its competitors like Yahoo!, some testers were just waiting on the home screen, when Googles staff asked why, they said “They were waiting for it to load”. Google also introduced links into search engines, when you searched something up and it was connected to a website, you could click the link connected to the result you were looking for, and to browse and find the site like that instead of typing in the site and finding it yourself. The things Google and Xerox have in common are little but significant, both Google and Xerox became popular verbs used by many people, Xerox is mostly used in America ( as I was told) and Google is used worldwide, everybody and their grandparents knows about it! They both revolutionised the tech industry at their time, Xerox made the first plain paper copy and Google made by far the best search engine.
