SOME EFFECTS ON PRICES DUE TO CHANGE IN
ENVIRONMENT:
1) ON FOOD PRICES:
-Climate related factors such as change in precipitation patterns and
drought can impact crop yields.
-Thus it changes the prices of food grains.
2) ON PETROL PRICES:
-Due to the depletion of fossil fuels and the effort to curb greenhouse
effect , the prices of petrol increases.
3) NATURAL DISASTERS:
-Natural disasters destroy houses , crops and other essential items thus
affecting the economy of that particular market.
ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES IN HYDERABAD AND
THEIR EFFECT ON PRICES:
1) TEMPERATURE:
-According to this report the mean temperature
In Hyderabad in the year 2012 is 26.4 and in the
Year 2022 is 26.
-In the lower part the graph shows the so called
warming stripes. Each coloured stripe represents
the average temperature for a year –
blue for colder and red for warmer years
-Therefore 2012 was relatively a warmer year as compared to 2022.
2) PRECIPITATION CHANGE:
-According to this report the mean rainfall
In the year 2012 was 723.9mm while in the
Year 2022 it was 891mm.
-In the lower part the graph shows the so
called precipitation stripes. Each coloured
stripe represents the total precipitation of a
year - green for wetter and brown for drier
years.
- Therefore it rained more in 2022 than in 2012.

3) AIR POLLUTION:
-AQI stands for air quality index
-It is used to communicate the level
of air quality and the associated
health risks in that specific location
-In 2012 the AQI of Hyderabad was around 89.14 and in 2022 it has risen to around
110.
