Alstom ETC Alstom Requirements Distribution current transformers shall comply with the requirements of NRS 029, and Eskom’s specific requirements as set out in annex A and schedule A of an enquiry document. Current transformers shall be manufactured and tested in accordance with NRS 029. The only distribution current transformers used by Eskom are in the following voltage ranges: 22 kV, 33 kV, 66 kV and 132 kV. Corrosion protection shall be in accordance with SCSSCAAP9. It is important to note the primary polarity markings with respect to the core arrangement. The six-core arrangement will be used primarily on phase 1 and phase 2 protection schemes.
